Boletín Geológico is a scientific journal of the Servicio Geológico Colombiano –SGC– (Colombian Geological Survey), created in 1953 to promote and publish research from different earth science fields conducted by the SGC. Boletín Geológico publishes previously unpublished scientific research articles, editorials, reviews or case reports on geosciences, mineral resources, geological threats, geochemistry, hydrocarbons and nuclear and environmental sciences and applications. Articles in Spanish or in English from authors regardless of their affiliation with the Servicio Geológico Colombiano are accepted. Boletín Geológico is published annually online and in print, under an open-access policy.
