Abstract

The study makes the characterization of mineral water in the department of Nariño. The results were obtained from chemical and bacteriological analysis of different samples of water bodies located in this department. The results show the compositions, classifications, possible uses, and applications for each body of water analyzed. The analyzed waters are the following: Tercan, La Calera, Curva de la nariz del diablo, Tutacha, Chimangual, and Salado de Sapuyes.
