Abstract
This report is about an exploration of Malpelo Island to look for phosphates of animal origin and their exploitation methods.
After a lithological description of the formations found, which are of igneous origin, a calculation of 450,500 tons was estimated. However, laboratory analyses indicate that what is found there is a compound of insoluble phosphates of iron and aluminum, which makes it useless for agricultural use.
