Abstract

The study exposes the main exploitation and iron deposits in Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Venezuela, Uruguay, Surinam, Peru, Paraguay, Brazil, Bolivia, and Argentina. For each of the studied departments belonging to these countries, the location, quality of the existing material, reserves, types of mineralization, and ore quality are detailed.
