Abstract
The possible synonymy between the species Magnastriatites howardii (Germeraad, Hopping & Muller, 1968) and Cicatricosisporites grandiosus (Kedves & Sole De Porta 1963) is discussed, and the description of the gender Magnastriatites is amended.
